This tatami square is a covering of high quality goza sewn with cotton thread onto a light, durable polystyrene base. The “2-Eri” in the title refers to the fact that two sides are covered by a beautiful cotton eri or edge.
This tatami block can be used to create a Japanese space, as a seat, a tray or as a base for a flower vase or other ornament.
This is the large size of the three sizes of tatami square available. It is 50 x 50 cm; (19 2/3 x 19 2/3 inches).The other two sizes are small (30 x 30 cm; 12 x 12 inches) and medium (40 x 40cm; 15 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches). They are all 3 cm (1 3/16 inch) thick.
