When television icon Ellen Pompeo received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, all eyes were on her — and her nails didn’t disappoint. The “Grey’s Anatomy” star chose an elegant soft pink manicure for the big day, and we’re thrilled to share that her celebrity nail tech used none other than Madam Glam’s gel polish to complete the look. HOW TO USE

1. Prep Nails - Push back and remove cuticles, buff the nail plate, and clean with alcohol to remove oils and dust2. Apply - 1 coat of regular base coat gel Curing time: 30 sec with the Pro Elio LED Lamp | 60 sec with any UV/LED Lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.3. Apply - 1-2 coats of soak off gel color. Curing time: 30 sec with the Pro Elio LED Lamp | 60 sec with any UV/LED Lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp. Don\'t forget to cure between layers.4. Apply - 1 coat of regular top coat gel Curing time: 30 sec with the Pro Elio LED Lamp | 60 sec with any UV/LED Lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.

APPLICATION TIPS

1. Use base and top coat from the same line. Our products are designed to work together towards giving a strongest finish.2. Avoid applying lotion or cuticle oil before the gel application as it will cause premature “lifting”.3. Apply thin coats of color and cure between each layer. Darker colors require longer curing time than the lighter ones.4. Avoid applying gel on your skin or cuticle area.5. Cap the free nail edge which will create a protective seal around the tip and sides of the nail.Aftercare: apply daily cuticle oils and avoid the first hours, after you have done your mani, soaking in hot water.
