Lightweight, Breathable Woven Upper

Designed with a lighter, sleeker upper than the first iteration, the Hoka Mach X 2 Running Shoes offer breathable support at a light weight. The supportive woven upper is extra-breathable to keep feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable on everyday runs and race days. It allows intolerable heat build-up to escape during high efforts and replaces it with cool, fresh air, keeping feet cool and providing a temperature that feet can thrive in. A sleek, race-inspired collar ensures a secure and comfortable fit that gives you added confidence with each stride. Not only does this race-ready collar provide extra comfort when giving your all, but it also keeps weight low so you can move fast. Completing the upper, reflective detailing improves visibility and the traditional lacing system with gusseted tongue locks down the midfoot for a secure, customisable fit that prevents in-shoe slippage and therefore enhances confidence.

Dual-Layer Midsole

Updated with an increased stack height, the Hoka Mach X 2 features more PEBA foam than the previous version. This highly resilient foam delivers soft cushioning underfoot with high-rebound properties that propel your forward into your next stride. Alongside this PEBA foam, EVA foam cushioning underfoot further enhances comfort while a more aggressive rocker creates a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This supports a runner\'s natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. Sandwiched between the resilient PEBA and EVA foams, a Pebax plate gives a propulsive feel and added support with an upgraded winged plate design. Finishing the midsole, cutouts underfoot reduce weight.

Durabrasion Rubber Outsole

Ensuring grip and traction across a variety of surfaces, the Mach X 2 features a Durabrasion rubber outsole. Offering a pair of shoes you can rely on, the outsoles are exceptionally durable whilst providing you with the traction you need in high-wearing areas. The durable rubber outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of different terrain over a long period of time. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position. The sole of the Mach X 2 also helps to eliminate excess rubber on the outsole which in turn reduces overall weight.
