HOT ! Antique Austrian Enamel Cat Bracelet

This charming bracelet with woven band features a painted cat on white wavy guilloche enamel, all set into an 800 silver backing. The cat focal point is actually a locket or compact of sorts- it opens to reveal an original powder puff and a polished silver mirror for the lady who owned this to powder her nose. There is a slight chip in the enamel, but it is in fabulous shape for its age. •••This piece dates back to the early 20th century (possibly much older). The piece that shows the most wear is the silk woven band; however, the band still adjusts easily and its original checked pattern is still clearly visible. Sizing wise, this piece will fit most wrists, as it has a sliding adjuster. The compact measures 28 mm in diameter, and easily opens and closes.
