This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use.

It measures 195 mm (7.68 inches) long × 70 mm (2.76 inches) wide × 16 mm (0.63 inches) tall, and weighs 598 g (21.09 oz / 1.6 lbs).

Hardness: 4.9+Shobudani Shiki Tomae Asagi with Tamamoku patterns. This extremely hard and dense Shobu is a perfect razor hone. At 60\' size, it\'s a scaled down version of the traditional bench stone 40\' size while maintaining excellent shape. These High level Shobu Asagi are loved within the razor community and for great reason. It offers a super base which is perfect for Mikawa Shiro Nagura progressions.
