If you’ve lived in San Francisco long enough, you’ll remember the classic Muni uniforms. With its orange and brown color scheme, the outfits were phased out in 2017 in favor of a new look. Some thought the brown uniforms —worn by operators for 4 decades—were “drab,” but we think they are iconic. We’re not the only ones who love the old-school color scheme, there’s a vintage Muni hat going for $500 on Ebay right now (November 2023).

Taking inspiration from San Francisco’s past, our friends at Oddly Awesome designed our latest hat as a throw back to the historic colors of Muni, and as an homage to the trains, buses, and trolleys that hold our beautiful city together. Featuring an adjustable clasp and flexible canvas material, this hat looks good on anyone with a head.
