In 2026, Seiko will celebrate its 145th anniversary. The limited edition commemorating this milestone features warm gold accents, symbolizing success and prosperity.

The dial of this limited-edition model is inspired by an intricate pattern that Kintaro Hattori, founder of Seiko, had engraved on pocket watches imported during the early years of his company.

The dial of the King Seiko model combines a finely engraved relief pattern with a deep gray gradient, creating a sense of depth and refinement while drawing the wearer in for closer inspection. The delicate beauty of the motif is further enhanced by the gold-colored logo, hands, and indices, whose radiant contrast exudes elegance and sophistication.

The KS1969 is inspired by the King Seiko 45KCM, born in 1969. The watch houses an automatic movement in an exceptionally slim case, combined with a multi-row bracelet designed for superior comfort and ease of use.

The back of the case features an engraved brand mark inspired by the King Seiko “shield” emblem from the 1960s. As a sign of exclusivity, the back of each watch case is engraved with “LIMITED EDITION” and an individual serial number, a lasting testament to its rarity and prestige.
