This fabulous swimsuit was made in the 1950s from cotton with a gorgeous floral print of roses on a white background. The halter neck strap connects to the bust, which has been pleated fir a flattering effect. Semicircular topped panels are cut into the bust, giving a sleek silhouette to the sides of the front of the bodice. The centre bodice panel features a line of vertical elasticated shirring in the middle and the entire back of the swimsuit has been shirred with elastic for a comfortable fit. Inside, there is a maker’s label for Tweka.
The below measurements show in stretched as well as maximum comfortable stretch sizing.
Bust: 28-38”
Waist: 24-28”
Hips: 26-38”
The swimsuit is in very good condition with only some slight looseness to the shirring at the back and repairs to the straps as pictured. There is some overlooking to the inner seams but this is common with swimwear.
