With a case in gold tone stainless steel, the dial is in a green suray finish with applied gold tone hour indexes and arabic figures. The gold tone is also carried through onto the hands which along with the hour markers, are coated in Lumibrite so that they shine in dim light. Also, a date window at 3 o’clock is a useful addition and thanks to a magnifier in the sapphire crystal, is easy to read. Additionally, a dark brown calf leather strap complements the green dial.

Movement

Water resistant to 20 bars, this is a practical timepiece with a casual aesthetic. Equipped with an automatic 6R35 calibre movement, the Seiko Prospex Alpinist Gold Tone Compass Watch has a 70 hour power reserve. For complete peace of mind it is covered by a two year manufacturer’s warranty. A great all-round watch for the active man.

I enjoyed dealing with the seller. I had purchased a Casio watch late in the afternoon last Thursday (27 April 2023) online and chose to self-collect it from one of their outlets on 29 April 2023. Normally it would take 2-3 working days for items being purchase online to be delivered.
