Inspiration & Design

Inspired by motorsport’s most thrilling moment - the heartbeat between red and green - the Reaction Time Zero (RT0) embodies precision, focus, and motion. The concept mirrors that split-second delay between the cue and the driver’s response, a phenomenon known as Reaction Time Zero.

Angles channels this idea into a retro-futuristic dashboard design, crafted by a team with over 15 years of watchmaking experience for leading Swiss and Japanese brands. Now fully independent, Angles creates original mechanical designs that fuse technical mastery with collector-grade exclusivity.

Dial & Case Details

The RT0’s frontal time display is achieved through an optically pure periscopic sapphire lens - a pentahedral crystal that projects horizontal hour and minute discs into an upright view. The result is a dynamic, vertically legible display that redefines how time is seen.

The 316L stainless-steel case measures 43mm in width and 17.4mm in height, featuring a sapphire exhibition caseback, push-pull crown, and 5ATM (50m) water resistance. The design pays homage to the mechanical experimentation of the 1970s while expressing Angles’ own contemporary identity.
