Here we have a 1990s Girard-Perregaux Ferrari Auto Chronograph reference: 8020. Their official watch sponsorship began in 1994 between Gino Macaluso, who acquired Girard-Perregaux in 1992 and Ferrari\'s Luca di Montezemolo; their collaboration lasted until 2004. Featuring a 38mm satin-brushed and polished stainless steel round case that comfortably sits on your wrist, thanks to the thick tapered lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 45mm and a case thickness of 12mm, giving the watch an impressive wrist presence. On the right side, we have the polished pushers and a deep-knurled signed ‘Cavallino Rampante’ Ferrari logo crown in the centre. The satin-brushed, smooth-sloping bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal above a matte-black tricompax dial. An outer minute track surrounds Tritium-coated Arabic numerals marking the hours. At 3 o’clock, a running seconds; at 6 o’clock, a 12-hour; and finally at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute, each clearly marked with a white leaf hand, between the 4 and 5 a date window. White hands filled with Tritium are complemented by a tapered chronograph hand.
