By tradition, each chain is still handcrafted in Germany.

The Original Herrnhut Star and the Moravian Star are closely related, with the Herrnhut Star being a specific type of Moravian Star that was protected by a patent for over 100 years.

The Herrnhut plastic stars ~ 13 cm / 5-inch ø are already assembled to pull over the lights of the chain. The plastic star chain can be used indoors and outdoors because of weather resistance. Please note that the stars are positioned upright if used outdoors. Otherwise, it is possible that water enters the socket. Particularly important with the LED chains, since the light sources are not waterproof water can penetrate, which leads to the failure of the LEDs!
