Material - genuine sterling silver .925Wire thickness - .230”About this bangle: This bangle is very thick. My brother in Trinidad makes these for me because they are too thick for me to manipulate the wire. The bangle is marked with a bamboo pattern. The heads are representative of cocoa pods which is historically an important cash crop of the West Indian Islands. The cocoa pods are casted separately and soldered onto the wire with .925 sterling silver solder. Each item is handmade and therefore every piece is unique. About West Indian Bangles: West Indian Bangles are a tradition of the Caribbean Islands. They were originally created through the unison of East Indian and African designs. These West Indian Bangles are typically worn in pairs but I price and sell them individually so you can choose how many you want to buy. These bangles are unisex such that both men and women wear thick bangles and thin bangles although men tend to prefer the thicker ones. They are often given to children to remind them of their heritage. Sizes They weigh between 62-70gSmall - 7 1/2\" in circumferenceMedium - 8\" in circumferenceLarge - 8 1/2\" in circumferenceXLarge - 9\" in circumferencePlease note: that all items are handmade and that means that there will be variations in listed dimensions. They are to be used as guides for your purchase but are not exact values.
