Lex Pott is a Dutch designer, graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven (2009), who now operates a studio in the suburbs of Amsterdam. He prefers to work with high quality wood, stone and metal, and often takes a layered approach to design projects. He has a natural intuition to experiment with materials and undertake extensive research in his work. A number of his creations are distinguished by improbable combinations of techniques and materials.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay. Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s. Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers. Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.
