 1.       Yakusugi (Japanese Cedar from Yakushima): Longevity, prosperity, inviting good fortune, warding off misfortune, healing, and relaxation.

Only cedars over 1,000 years old are called \"Yakusugi,\" while younger ones are distinguished as \"Kosugi.\" Yakusugi grows mainly at altitudes between 600 and 1,300 meters, with giant trees often seen around 1,200 meters.

Recognized as a crucial element of Japan’s natural landscape during its World Heritage registration, Yakusugi is an indigenous species thriving in an exceptional habitat. It is said to embody the powerful life force of ancient forests and the pure energy of Yakushima, a sacred island.
