Familiarised by the intellectual but brought to life by the artist, this classic, soft panto-style frame is offset by MONC’s signature angled brow.
Tampere, pronounced tam-puh-ray, might look familiar to you, and for good reason. If you like this silhouette but want something slightly more slender, check out Kallio, Tampere’s cousin.
As with all of the designs in CAPSULE 01, Tampere features dramatic chamfering, meaning it’s expertly sculpted and hand-finished for uncompromising comfort and refined detailing.
For CAPSULE 01, each design has been made in a limited batch of just over 200 pieces - resulting in no more than 35 frames per colour across sunglasses and spectacles combined.
Every frame in CAPSULE 01 is identifiable by its own unique batch number, engraved on the inner temple.
