The Taylor armchair and pouf are conceived as two parts of a whole. Placed together, they create the proportions of a relaxed chaise longue, while each piece can also function independently. The gently tilted backrest and generous seat invite a comfortable, laid-back posture while maintaining a clean, balanced silhouette.

Handcrafted in Spain, the chair is made using traditional upholstery techniques. The structure is built from solid pine and beech wood, with a hand-tied biconic spring seat and zig-zag spring backrest. An integrated cushion filled with goose down and silicone fibre gives the backrest its soft volume and supportive comfort.

The seat cushion combines high-density Neropur foam with goose down compartments, creating a seat that is both structured and plush. A tailored skirt conceals the natural beech wood legs, keeping the profile understated.

With its quiet presence and honest materials, the Taylor reflects the kind of restrained design language often favoured by architects such as Vincent Van Duysen — furniture that complements architecture through proportion, craft and comfort.
