TEMPLE RATTLE
One-of-a-Kind African Chevron + Tribal Pendant Chest PieceFor the wearer who moves like myth and sounds like history.
This arresting necklace is a layered, heirloom-quality fusion of African chevron glass beads, ornate brass tribal spheres, and a vintage engraved pendant chestpiece that looks like it was pulled straight from a desert queen’s ceremonial regalia.
The pendant is weighty, symbolic, and impossible to ignore—a temple gate for the body, adorned with fringe-like bells that jingle with every movement, calling in attention, spirit, and sound.
The necklace balances royal color play—red, cobalt, emerald, gold—with textures that feel both sacred and armored. It’s art. It’s ancestry. It’s armor with rhythm.
The vintage pendant, which measures 4.5\" x 3.75\" is from the Middle East, etched and has a piece of red inlaid glass to ward off the \"evil eye.\" All of the attached dangles are intact which is rare for pieces of this age and genre. A double strand necklace supports the pendant and features the following components: chevron beads, red oval \"squash\" beads, shiny silver balls, African hand painted glass, bone, ornate metal Turkman beads with possible inlaid gemstones, turquoise slices, gold tone metal wavy potato chip spacers, tiny silver tone vintage bells and a large red Tibetan resin inlaid focal bead. This lightweight piece adjusts from 19-22\" and is finished with silver tone hardware, a lobster claw clasp and a 3\" extender chain. A funky beaded dangle featuring a red Buddha bead adds interest to your back.
