During the Georgian Period (1714 - 1830) wax seals were used to mark a document as authentic or to preserve the privacy of the document upon delivery to its intended recipient. A broken seal would indicate that the document or letter had been viewed previously. This necklace consists of hand-stamped seals in fine silver (.999 purity) using an antique wax seal from the Georgian time period. Each one-of-a-kind stamping features a classic running fox over terrain with the words \"Tally Ho\" emblazoned above. What could be a better talisman for the fox hunter in your life? Measuring approximately 1 1/4\" in diameter, this pendand is suspended from a 17\" necklace of offset knotted white Swarovski pearls. Other necklace options available upon requrest.
