While browsing a vintage store, Johanna spotted a stack of designer men\'s dress shirts and inspiration struck. She brought them home, tore them apart, and reinvented them into a striking shirt dress.  The flood of women asking where to find one made it clear—more had to be made.

Now, two years later, the Montclair Reconstructed Shirt Dress has officially arrived! Each one-of-a-kind piece is handcrafted, cleverly using the original plackets, cuffs, and buttons as design elements to cut waste and crank up the style. And Johanna organically combines the patterns and stripes in each bespoke garment to command attention with perfect balance.

Sizing: 

The size of each shirt dress is based on sizes of the original  men\'s shirtrs, so each is unique.  But the pattern has been designed to flatter a variety of body types.  They come in three general size ranges (1, 2 and 3) [Please note this is NOT your standard dress size].  We provide specific measurements to help you choose the perfect dress for you.
