An exceptional work of carved art. This is a wonderfully creative piece made from a range of exotic and beautifully rich materials. Hand crafted for us by Yannis Petzold.

The Materials....

The toki is carved from a recycled piece of Lignum Vitae - a silky smooth, grainy and gorgeous wood that is beautifully finished.

The triple inlay are Pāua Shell. The Paua is encased in brass and the other inlays are bedded in silver.

The artist has also added a 7,5,3,2 pathway created with little Sterling Silver points representing genealogy. 

The silver \'star\' inlays represent a genealogical pathway:

• 7 - Maternal Grandmother


• 5 - Paternal Grandmother


• 3 - Mother


• 2 - Father

The neck cord is in its own right a little work of art! A hand plaited, spiralled cord in brown that is a fixed length with a Paua Shell Toggle.

PĀUA TRIO is a very cool piece. It has clean lines, is silky smooth and exquisitely hand made by a fantastic New Zealand artist. Yannis has carved this with the flair that you would expect to find in his work - and his craftsmanship is flawless.
