This sage comes from an indigenous-owned store and is sustainably harvested and organically grown on reservation land. Nothing is taken from the land without the ability to regrow. The sage sticks are hand harvested and hand wrapped by tribal members.

WHAT IS SMOKE CLEANSING AND HOW TO USE IT?

Smoke Cleansing also known as Smudging is a Native American ritual or ceremony that is performed to cleanse and purify a space, an object or even a living being.  You can do this by burning a sage bundle and waving the smoke with your hand or a feather either around a room, your crystals or a person. Loose leaf sage can also be used in a heat proof bowl such as our abalone shell bowls.
