Hand-poured in the South of France, Mad et Len’s Bougie Apothicaire candles are a masterclass in elemental luxury. Encased in handcrafted blackened iron vessels, each candle is both an object of art and a ritual of scent—designed to transform space with moody, transportive fragrance.

Mad et Len works in small batches using essential oils distilled in-house. Their perfumes are unconventional, poetic, and intensely atmospheric—evoking volcanic ash, moss-covered wood, Moroccan souks, and alpine air.

No two candles are exactly alike. The imperfections of handcraft make each piece feel quietly personal—raw, elegant, and grounded in French alchemy.

To ensure a longer lasting burn, refrain from trimming the wicks too short.  A blend of 100% soy wax gives off a luxurious aura and premium quality. With a burn time of around 4 hours to reach the edges, our candles embody exquisite sophistication.
