Mimi Elashiry and Paul Kaufman\'s friendship began over boots and a love of the style-soaked vintage American western clothing they both collected.  Drawing on their shared obsession for vintage western boots,  passion for the environment and a love for well-made, functional products, it was inevitable that Mimi and Paul  would conjure something magical together.
 

Mimi has always expressed herself in whatever form she embraced.  Her love of style, in particular vintage western wear, and obsession with throwing on cowboy boots with any outfit, has seen Mimi further develop her eclectic sense of style.  After many years of traveling, exploring, and dancing the night away with pskaufman\'s comfy-as-all-#ionlywearpskaufman) on her feet, Mimi felt the time was right to reach out to Paul and propose a joint effort to create something special together. 

 
Inspired by Mimi\'s Egyptian heritage and the notion of cowboys and boots in the middle east,  Mimi and Paul created a collection of Eastern boots, that are equally suitable for rounding up livestock in the desert or dancing the night away on a felucca sailing down the Nile! Paul\'s exceptional style and expertise in artisanal boot-making, combined with Mimi\'s creativity and

Available exclusively online in Black leather with bone embroidery or in Bone leather with Golden Tan embroidery, the Junction Eastern boot features iconic Egyptian snake imagery on a goodyear-welt constructed short boot with repurposed jet tire inner tube toplifts, a genuine stacked leather heel, leather welt, cork inner sole, leather-covered memory foam footbed and leather outsole.
