Designed by British designer John Tree, the Annex Overhang Table is created for versatile use across a wide range of spaces and situations. Combining well-balanced proportions with architectural strength, the collection includes various tabletop shapes such as Round, Oblong, Flush and Overhang, offering different expressions and functions depending on the setting. The \'Overhang\' design allows seating at both ends of the table, without a clash of diners legs below, creating a more comfortable dining arrangement. The frame and tubular legs are crafted from solid oak or aluminium, with the aluminium sourced from at least 75% post-consumer recycled scrap and extruded in Europe. It can be paired with a variety of tabletop options, such as oak veneer, linoleum and laminate, as well as Kvadrat’s Really Textile Tabletop™ made from 70% end-of-life textiles. With sustainability in mind, all components can be disassembled and replaced, extending the table’s lifespan and allowing for repair or refurbishment over time. Its flat-pack design reduces the environmental footprint, while straightforward assembly makes it simple to set up.Designed with a clever apron and corner-connecting system, the table ensures stability while making the construction process easy and efficient. The corners and aprons screw into the tabletop, forming a strong frame with recessed fittings that allow the legs to slot securely in place. Equipped with adjustable feet, the table is adaptable to uneven surfaces and remains level and stable.
