Hand tied by us at Sugartown Mercantile, our Horse Brass Scarf Necklaces are created with real authentic horse brasses & hand picked vintage scarves. Horse brasses are adornments worn by draft horses when they have all their harnesses on to pull carriages & plows for show. The brasses are symbols for status, given as trophies or simply for decoration. They are typically attached to a leather strap that drapes down the horse\'s flank & can be worn on the headstalls. Our necklaces are always made of real brass & never tied with a fast fashion scarf. Each piece is completely unique, with signs of use that adds character. We tie our scarfs with a simple square knot that can be adjusted & easily loosened for wear.
