Our Upcycled Silverware Angel Ornament, MALLORY, is a tiny guardian made entirely from vintage silverware scraps — proof that even the smallest leftovers can become something beautiful.

At Laughing Frog Studio, we’re committed to using every last piece of the silverware we reclaim. When a handle gets trimmed or a spoon bowl gets cut away for another project, the offcuts go straight into the scrap bin, waiting for their moment. For this sweet angel, we dug into that bin and married together a handful of those forgotten bits.

Her body began as a spoon handle whose bowl had already been used elsewhere. Her wings were once a divided spoon bowl. Her head and halo were punched from spoon‑bowl scraps. Piece by piece, she came together — a patchwork angel brought to life by hand.

MALLORY hangs from a simple red‑and‑white ribbon, ready to bring a little upcycled joy wherever she lands.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.  

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues we note.
