Our Upcycled Silverware Angel Ornament is a little miracle born straight from the scrap bin.

At Laughing Frog Studio, we do our best to use every last piece of vintage silverware. When a handle gets trimmed or a spoon bowl gets cut away for another project, the leftovers don’t get tossed — they get saved, waiting for their second chance. This sweet angel is the perfect example of that magic.

Her body began as a spoon handle whose bowl had already been used elsewhere. Her wings were once a spoon bowl, now divided. Her head and halo were punched from spoon‑bowl scraps. Piece by piece, we married these bits together by hand until she came to life — a tiny patchwork guardian made entirely from reclaimed silverplate.

DIANA hangs from a simple red‑and‑white ribbon, ready to bring a little upcycled joy wherever she lands.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.   

Condition: Please note, this is an antique silverplate item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues we note.
