This sideboard arrived to us from an estate sale — a home filled with antiques spanning the late 1800s to early 1900s, each piece a remnant of a family\'s long history. This one was a heirloom in need of serious love: worn, tired, but structurally exceptional. The bones told us everything we needed to know.

We gave it the full Adam treatment — our rigorous multi-step restoration process — stripping it back, addressing every surface, and finishing it in Carriage House, a deep, earthy green with a matte water-based polyurethane topcoat. The top was stripped to natural wood and sealed with a durable polyacrylic finish, creating a rich material contrast that feels both grounded and refined. New hardware inspired by crystal chandelier detailing completes the transformation.
