The Eight Thread Peace Knot:
The eight-strand braid is evolved from the four-strand braid, the threads are intertwined, mutual generation and restraint, and samsara rotation, symbolizing life\'s love and hatred, joy, anger, sorrow, and joy.
The eight-strand braid has 4 sides and 8 threads. Regarding the 4 sides, it is [Four Bodhisattvas]: Guanyin Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, which respectively represent the four ideal personalities of compassion, wisdom, practice, and power.
It also pays attention to the four altruistic wishes of kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, that is, the heart of immeasurable kindness, the heart of compassion, the heart of immeasurable joy, and the heart of immeasurable equanimity [the four immeasurable hearts], which imply peace and safety.

Ma Ni means the jewel, symbolizes factors of the method, compassion, and love, the altruistic intention to become enlightened.
Pad Me means lotus and symbolize wisdom.
