Detailed information on Deck Hat
The Deck Hat is our classic skull cap shape, with a 5cm double-rolled brim so it can be worn short or long. Originally favoured by sailors and fishermen, this style later became popular with mountaineers, who would wear them to protect their heads not only from the cold, but from loose stones dropping on them from above.
You could say there is a strong family resemblance between our hats and our jumpers. We use the same premium virgin wool with natural self-cleaning and water-resistant properties and the same distinctive 5-gauge knit.
