This incredible Vintage Monumental Monies Golden Geometric Wood Necklace is more than a statement. Made of lightweight acacia wood with gold foil and a sturdy, adjustable leather cord, it can be worn anywhere.

Monies is a brand that Iris Apfel often wore.

Gerda Lynggaard (who now goes by Gerda Monies) and her husband Nikolai founded Monies in 1973 in Copenhagen. The label is known for creating huge, over-the-top, maximalist creations using semi-precious stones and materials.
