The Maker’s Story: A Quiet Masterpiece

It started with a challenge: create a cross that feels almost weightless—one that doesn’t dangle, shift, or compete with the rest of your jewelry, but still stands as a meaningful presence. 

We began by hand-sketching a micro cross that measured just 6.5mm—a true study in proportion. Too small, and it disappears. Too large, and it loses its quiet grace. 

Once we found the perfect balance, our metalsmith hand-cut the design from solid 14K gold using precision blades under magnification. The edges were smoothed and softened one by one, ensuring no harsh corners or sharp angles. 

The soldering process was next—a delicate moment requiring both skill and timing. Using a laser soldering technique, we attached the cross directly onto a fine gold chain, aligning it millimeter by millimeter so it would lay flat and centered once worn. 

Before it left the bench, we polished the entire necklace to a satin-gloss finish, tested its integrity, and inspected it in natural light to ensure it caught just enough shine without ever feeling flashy. 

The result is a piece that speaks softly, yet carries deep personal resonance.
