A scarce antique necklace of 119 rare hand drilled natural Saltwater Pearls strung as a classic necklet to sit closely circling the base of the neck. Each its own individual baroque shape and lustre, dictated by the size of and their position in the Oyster shell; these rare creamy hued beauties were so desired and sought after in their day before the advent of the Pearl culturing process.

It fastens with an exquisite 9ct Gold barrel style \'fish hook\' safety clasp and the Pearls are interspersed with 38 9ct Gold beads.
