HOT ! Victorian 14k Black Enamel Pendant Locket

A fantastic enameled locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece, which is oval in shape, has a rich black enamel face and back. The stark black case contrasts nicely against the soft 14k gold frame. The locket hangs from a complimentary enameled bail which is perfect for hanging from your favorite chain. The inside features two frames, one of which is holding a photo of a woman and one of which holds a small lock of hair. It\'s a wonderful piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The locket hangs approximately 1 5/8\" long, 1\" wide, and 3/8\" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold locket. There is some very minor surface wear to the enameled surface which isn\'t unusual for an enameled piece from this era. The piece opens easily and stays securely closed.
