Ephemeral Flight is a tribute to the dragonfly—one of nature’s most mystical messengers, here only briefly, yet unforgettable. Adult dragonflies live just a short time, making their presence all the more meaningful. This cuff was created to honor that fleeting beauty, transformation, and the quiet reminder to live fully in the moment.

The dragonfly emerges from a solid sheet of copper, entirely handcrafted from start to finish. The copper is cut, sanded, heat-treated, patterned, and shaped by hand before the dragonfly form is carefully cut, attached, and brought to life. A vibrant turquoise is set into the body, and flame painting adds rich, organic color to the metal—no two areas ever quite the same.

After forming, the cuff is patinated, refined, and cleaned, allowing the textures and colors to settle into a piece that feels both earthy and luminous. Copper’s natural warmth and evolving patina make it a deeply personal metal, changing subtly over time with the wearer.

To preserve the integrity of the metal, adjust the cuff once to fit your wrist, then rotate the opening to the side when putting it on or taking it off rather than squeezing it open and closed.
