Six Maya armchairs by Gian Vittorio Plazzogna for Cetera, Italy, from the 1980s. Postmodern tranquility rather than gesture. A black, lacquered wooden frame supports the seat and armrests, above which stretches a chromed steel backrest. Slender vertical struts, a continuous circle, clear proportions. Sculptural yet disciplined. At the dining table, in the studio, in the meeting room, the series works through rhythm and lightness. Very good vintage condition with fine, age-related surface scratches, documented in the photos. Sold as a set of six, with a comfortable seat height of 46 cm. The form remains light.
