HOT ! Hiroshima native beach tea 2022

Hamacha cultivated and manufactured by TEA FACTORY GEN. It is a unique bancha that is grown in the tea fields of Sera without fertilizers and pesticides and dried in the sun by exposing it to the sea breeze. I think this tea can only be made in the calm Setouchi region, where there are few winds and many sunny days. This tea has the aroma of roasted beans, the aroma and aftertaste of peaches due to slight fermentation, and a hint of saltiness. The original sweetness, aroma, and refreshing astringency unique to native tea are all three elements of this tea.

[How to brew tea bags]

Add 200ml of hot water at 100℃ per tea bag and brew for 30 seconds. Do not wait for the second brew to reach 100℃.

★Recommended brewing method

In the hot summer, on the rocks (brew plenty of ice in a cup and pour hot water over it) or cold brew (2 packets per 500 ml of water, wait at least 3 hours). It is recommended.

[Manufacturing method]

The tea leaves picked in early April were left to dry naturally for a week on the beach of Onomichi. Most of the drying is due to natural forces such as the warm sea breeze of Setouchi and the power of the sun. Slightly fermented during the drying stage. Roasted over high heat to finish.
